According to the book, UFOs in the 1980s by Jerome Clark a sighting occurred on March 15, 1988.

At the Port of Entry on the U.S./Canada border near Estevan, seven persons, including two customs officers and a policeman, observed a silver, cylindrical object come within 200 yards of the customs building. It hovered at an altitude of about 150 feet for a few minutes, then headed into the northeast.
